.apeThe real one is coming.
A new top-level internet domain for the ape community. Like .com, but .ape. It started with the community. *ape names, voted in by the ApeCoin DAO through AIP-395, were the first step. Real .ape domains that work across the whole internet come next.
The rollout is planned in stages, with the people already holding *ape names in mind.

Questions
- What is .ape?
- A new top-level internet domain, the part of an address after the dot. Think yourname.ape the way you think yourname.com: a real domain with full DNS, built to last.
- When can I register a .ape name?
- Not yet. Delegation and launch are targeted for the second half of 2027, and registrations open after that.
- Who runs .ape?
- D3. ICANN has confirmed D3 as the sole applicant for .ape. D3 also operates Ape Names, which launched under AIP-395, an ApeCoin DAO proposal.
- I already have a *ape name. What happens to it?
- You can keep renewing it. New
*aperegistrations are closed. Your*apename gives you priority in Frontier to request the matching .ape domain when .ape launches, subject to ICANN launch rules. - How do I get early access?
- D3’s Frontier pre-registration program gives priority access to domain names before public launch.
